  1. Here is the first release of MicroBArtender version 2.1.

  3. Improvements over MicroBArtender 1.0
  4.  
  5. - tape recorder like browsing controls, nicer than before
  6. - context search, select a search key and cross reference all other
  7.   cards with the same word
  8. - tools including measurements, substitutes and glossary information,
  9.   list of drinks, suggestions of drinks to make based on stocking
  10.   information, recipe printing
  11.  
  12. ...and yes, you can enter your own drinks or modify existing cards,
  13.    but I strongly discourage that - please send me your recipes so
  14.    I can have 1 official consolidated stack!  There are also import
  15.    facilities for updates.

  17. Revisions in MicroBArtender version 2.1 from 2.0
  18. - MB2.1 works with HyperCard 2.0.  MB2.0 should be used by
  19.    those who stick with HyperCard 1.2.  Speed fiends should
  20.    stick with HyperCard 1.2 since it has a bit less overhead, but
  21.    HyperCard 2.0 has nice text formatting features.  Beware, HC1.2
  22.    and TrueType do not mix!

  26. - MicroBArtender is being ported to the NeXT and Apple // GS
  27. - More recipes are being collected!

  29. I'd like to thank Dave Garman for allowing me to include
  30. his "The College Student's Official Bartender's Guide", and Shane 
  31. Zatezalo for his personal collection.  MicroBArtender knows over 750
  32. drinks, but the release only comes with 101.  There is a $10US
  33. registration fee for the entire, growing recipe collection.

  35. If you have special recipes you'd like to see included in future
  36. releases of the MicroBArtender, please send them to me!
  37. (Beware, you agree to give me unconditional use of said recipes and
  38. they should not be copyrighted.)
